Peteykins' Image Gallery Greatest Misses
/ ballard1
This and the next three images are free adaptations of J.G. Ballard's unusual
plan to create a "novel" which would be "published" on commercial billboards.
The original, untitled four pages for the project by Ballard are filled with
text from industrial and medical catalogues with "headlines" alluding to
the four "characters" in the story: Kline, Xero, Coma and, of course, Mr.
F, the most imposing figure in Ballard's piece, if only because his typography
is the largest.
